Do you know how good Starbucks Frappuccinos are? Lizzy has us addicted I think...(not to worry, it's milk based, so I'm not hopped up on caffeine!)

Today we walked around France. We waited a good 2 hours to get into the catacombs, but they were cool! Although it is a bit creepy walking through underground tunnels of bones from centuries ago...

We even got to take a double decker tour bus! We sat up top and drove all over their main tour of France.

But the coolest event that we witnessed today was the rekindling of the eternal flame. Just under the Arc de Triomphe (a huge arc that was commissioned by Napoleon in 1806) lies a burning flame. It burns in the memory of all the unknown soldiers that have died in war and never were found. Their families still don't know what happened to them.

Today they had a ceremony for the anniversary of the railroad strike in France. They did it to cut service to Paris, France. As a result the Nazis were unable to get into France, and Paris was safe, for the moment.

It's an amazing place here. We walk a lot!
